EMT Engineering Sales was established in 1985 with our first office in Eden Prairie Minnesota (20 miles southwest of Minneapolis). The company was founded with our focus on the sales of electro-mechanical components to the medical, aerospace, data communications, telecommunications, industrial and defense OEM (original equipment manufacturers) markets. We continue to maintain this emphasis today.

We opened our second office in the Milwaukee metro area in 1990 and continued our expansion in the upper Midwest with the opening of a Chicago location in 2000. 

We expanded into Canada in 1991.  Our first office was in Toronto, followed by Montreal in 1992, Ottawa in 2002 and Vancouver in 2004.

EMT Engineering Sales now covers thirteen states and provinces out of seven offices. The offices are under common ownership and direction.
